Hop on our boat and get ready for an exciting trip into a colourful world full of schools of fish and other marine life. Over 25 different snorkeling sites around Port d'Andratx and in the Dragonera marine reserve (designated tours) offer the best conditions for your adventure. Remote rock coves and or hidden beaches are ideal for snorkeling as the visibility is particularly clear. Depending on the sea and weather conditions of the day, we choose the most suitable snorkeling site for your adventure. Guided snorkeling boat experience (all levels): Our guided snorkeling tours are the perfect choice if it’s your first time using mask, snorkel, and fins. Our experienced guides will take you to the best snorkeling spots in the area and explain everything you need to know about using the equipment and making the most of your experience. This tour is also suitable for experienced snorkelers, you can choose if you would like to join the group or explore the site on your own. Programme: We meet directly at our dive center in Port d'Andratx. There is a large free car park about 5 minutes away next to Hostal Catalina Vera or you can park on the side of the back street (white markings!). Please note: the blue markings for the paid parking directly in front of the center are only for 2 hours and will not be enough for the duration of the experience. After checking in at our dive center, you’ll receive a short introduction and be fitted with your equipment. Our boat is waiting just a few steps away, and within 5–10 minutes we’ll reach one of our beautiful, calm snorkeling spots. There, you’ll have around 50 minutes to explore and enjoy the underwater world. Afterwards, we return to the dive center, where you can take a warm shower and relax with coffee, tea, and cookies while sharing your experiences in our center’s welcoming atmosphere. Altogether you can calculate ca. 3 hours for the entire experience – from check-in to wrapping up your time with us. Snorkeling by boat This tour gives you the chance to join our scuba divers on the boat and get out to remote spots, that you cannot reach by land. While the scuba divers get ready and go for their dive, you will have plenty of time (60-70 minutes) to discover the site on your own, while our captain is always there for you on the boat, should you wish to take a break or need anything. As this is an unguided experience and it goes to remote spots with rock formations and cliffs, you should be a confident swimmer and feel comfortable in the open water on your own without being able to touch the bottom. Our experienced dive guides will give you a briefing on the best snorkeling routes to take on the site and are also happy to give you advice on your snorkeling skills and the equipment.
