This tour stays entirely on the water, so you can fully enjoy the island’s coastal wonders from the sea. The tour is suitable for all levels, but if you wish to go snorkeling, you should be a confident swimmer and feel comfortable in the open water without being able to touch the bottom. If snorkeling isn’t your thing, you can still take a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear waters or simply relax and soak in the stunning scenery from the boat. About the Dragonera Marine Reserve The “Sa Dragonera” Marine Reserve, established in 2016, protects one of Mallorca’s most diverse and thriving underwater ecosystems. Since its creation, the reserve has seen a remarkable recovery of marine life: the number of species has multiplied, and some populations, like the biomass of groupers, have increased up to 40 times. The reserve is home to some of the island’s best diving and snorkeling spots. From hidden grottos and caves to impressive rock formations - there is something for every underwater explorer. Large schools of barracuda, sea bream, and other fish, as well as groupers, octopus, and moray eels, are part of the everyday scenery. With a bit of luck, you might even encounter a graceful ray gliding by. Protected and carefully managed, the Dragonera Marine Reserve is not only a sanctuary for marine life but also a place where divers and snorkelers can experience the island’s underwater beauty in its most vibrant and natural state. Programme: We meet directly at our dive center in Port d'Andratx. There is a large free car park about 5 minutes away next to Hostal Catalina Vera or you can park on the side of the back street (white markings!). Please note: the blue markings for the paid parking directly in front of the center are only for 2 hours and will not be enough for the duration of the experience. After checking in at our dive center, you’ll receive a short introduction and be fitted with your equipment. Our boat is waiting just a few steps away. Our tour takes us along the beautiful coastline of Andratx towards the island of Dragonera. With our agile Zodiac, we will make a full round around the island, allowing you to admire it from the water from all sides. The side of the island facing the open sea is dominated by cliffs of up to 360 m in height—a unique perspective you usually don’t get—and it is truly breathtaking to cruise directly beneath them. After admiring the island above the surface, we will stop at one of its remote bays, known for their vibrant marine life and healthy fields of sea grass. There, you’ll have around 30 minutes to explore and enjoy the underwater world. Returning to the dive center, you can take a warm shower and relax with coffee, tea and cookies while sharing your experiences in our center’s welcoming atmosphere. Mininmum OWD certification and 10 dives

Snorkeling offers you a unique insight into the fascinating underwater world of Mallorca with its crystal clear waters, highly protected fields of sea grass and amazing rock formations. Hop on our boat and get ready for an exciting trip into a colourful world full of schools of fish and other marine life. Over 25 different snorkeling sites around Port d'Andratx and in the Dragonera marine reserve (designated tours) offer the best conditions for your adventure. Remote rock coves and or hidden beaches are ideal for snorkeling as the visibility is particularly clear. Depending on the sea and weather conditions of the day, we choose the most suitable site for both snorkelers and divers on our boat. Snorkeling by boat This tour gives you the chance to join our scuba divers on the boat and get out to remote spots, that you cannot reach by land. While the scuba divers get ready and go for their dive, you will have plenty of time (60-70 minutes) to discover the site on your own, while our captain is always there for you on the boat, should you wish to take a break or need anything. As this is an unguided experience and it goes to remote spots with rock formations and cliffs, you should be a confident swimmer and feel comfortable in the open water on your own without being able to touch the bottom. Our experienced dive guides will give you a briefing on the best snorkeling routes to take on the site and are also happy to give you advice on your snorkeling skills and the equipment.
